A field visit, geography lesson, or site investigation may need a map. A study guide, architecture review, or decision board may not. Canvio starts with the task, so the board determines which objects matter.
Native when place matters
When a map is useful, pins can sit alongside notes, images, relations, and decisions. A location becomes part of the reasoning instead of a separate screen that people have to leave the board to inspect.
Relations can now point to individual pins, so a note can connect to a specific site visit, address, classroom example, or research location. That makes place feel native to the board without making every board about maps.
Part of the larger workspace
The same board can move from a concept map to a site view, then back to the larger story. Maps are one strong object inside a broader workspace for connected thinking, learning, planning, and research.
